RE Capital European Real Estate Macro Reports
2022 Outlook and Strategy
Real estate has remained a favoured asset class in most of Western Europe throughout the pandemic. Current metrics indicate a strong performance for this sector in 2022, with a forecast for higher returns than a year ago. This confidence is supported by continuing investor demand, confirmed in a recent survey by the Alternative Credit Council, where 33% of alternative investors said they plan to increase their exposure to real estate in 2022, compared to 24% in early 2021.
